A Message for Exeter Residents
When you see a candidate, you learn something. This site gives people outside of New Hampshire a chance to tap into that. We're not asking you to be a reporter; we're asking you to be yourself. Please keep your posts brief.
We have three questions for you to think about when you see a candidate.
1. What did you learn about this person that you didn’t know as clearly before? (It might be a policy point, but typically, policy stuff can be learned in the papers or from a web site; you might get a view into values, character, priorities, etc.)
2. What was it precisely that she or he said or did that gave you that insight? (It could be certain words, an approach to answering a question, a manner of speaking, or something else.)
3. Based on those two answers, turn the focus on yourself. Why did you respond as you did?
It always helps to take a few notes when you see a candidate.
On the top right corner of this page, you'll see a link labeled "How do I …?"; You'll find answers to most of your questions there. If you need any help at all, call me, Jon Greenberg, at NHPR 603-228-8910. Or use my email ppohelp@nhpr.org
