You can select just those posts that mention a particular issue. To select more than one issue, hold down the CTRL key -- Option key for Macs.
You can also limit your search to posts that mention a certain candidate. After choosing an issue, select a candidate's name.
You can choose more than one candidate by holding down the CTRL key (Option key for Macs) when you click on a second name.
